Microsoft Windows Mail setup guide

Below are the step-by-step instructions to set up your Windows Mail for Grapevine.

If you experience any problems, please contact Grapevine Technical Support on 13 35 00 (option 3)

1) Load Windows Mail (Start > All Programs > Windows Mail).

2) Click on Tools > Accounts.

3) Click on Add.

4) Select E-mail Account then click Next.

5) Enter your display name as you would like your recipients to see it as (eg full name, family name, business name etc.) then click Next.

6) Enter your full Grapevine email address then click Next.

  • In the Incoming Mail Server dropdown menu, ensure POP3 is selected.
  • In the Incoming Mail Server field, type in (based on your email address username@grapevine.com.au) pop3.grapevine.com.au.
  • In the Outgoing Mail Server field, type in (based on your email address username@grapevine.com.au) smtp.grapevine.com.au.
  • Ensure Outgoing server requires authentication is not ticked.
  • Click Next.

8) Enter your full email address as your email username and type your regular connection password then click Next.

9) Do not tick the checkbox "Do not download my e-mail at this time" then click Finish.

10) If there are any emails on the mail server, they will download to your Inbox immediately.
